PDAs have excellent sideloading options. USB connection is virtually ubiquitous, memory cards are widely supported and many newer PDAs support Bluetooth file transfer.

USB

Using a USB cable is the easiest way to transfer videos into PDAs. It is simply a case of connecting the cable and using Windows Explorer to move the videos that you have downloaded into your PDA.

Bluetooth

Unless you are using a laptop with built-in Bluetooth support the chances are that you will have to acquire a Bluetooth adapter if you want to use Bluetooth for file transfer. Adapters like those shown below are available in most electronics retailers, but they can be over-priced, especially from stores in the US like Best Buy and Radio Shack. If you have Bluetooth connectivity you will have to "pair" your PC and your PDA. This is a one-off security procedure that makes sure that the PC and PDA are authorized to communicate with each other.
