In order to transfer files to your device using Bluetooth, you must first ensure that you have a Bluetooth enabled PC or have an Adapter installed. If you haven't installed the adapter yet it's worth reading the rest of this page as it may allow you to make some useful installation changes. You need to identify which manufacturer's Bluetooth drivers you are using. On your PC's taskbar you should see an icon like this..


Right click on this icon on your taskbar and a dialog box will pop up. Compare the box with those shown below to find out which driver you are using.

If you see this image, you are using the Widcomm Driver which is one of the most common and robust Bluetooth Drivers. Set up this driver for pairing.
If you see this image you are using the Microsoft Driver that is built in to Windows XP SP2. Set up this driver for pairing
If you see this image you are using a Toshiba Driver. Set up this driver for pairing.
If you see this image you are using the Blue-Soleil/IVT Driver. Set up this driver for pairing.

If you see a dialog box that is different from all of those shown above, then you will need to follow the manufacturer's instructions for pairing your devices.
