This Privacy Policy explains how Clipperz Sdn. Bhd. (Registration No. 202601013234 / 1675332-W), the company behind Clippz ("Clippz", "we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our mobile app and website (together, the "Service").

1. Information we collect

We collect information in three ways:

• Information you provide. Account details (name, email, date of birth, profile photo), payout details, content you upload (clips, gigs, briefs), messages sent through the Service, and support requests.
• Information collected automatically. Device identifiers, app usage and performance data, approximate location (derived from IP), and log data, collected to keep the Service reliable and secure.
• Information from third parties. If you sign in with Google, Apple, or Facebook, we receive the basic profile information those providers share with your permission. Payment processors share transaction status (not full card details) so we can confirm payouts.

2. How we use information

• To create and secure your account and verify your identity.
• To operate core features: matching creators and collaborators, processing milestones and payouts, and powering community and analytics features.
• To send service notices, security alerts, and (with consent) product updates.
• To detect fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service.
• To improve the Service through aggregated, de-identified analytics.

3. Minors and guardian consent

Clippz supports creators under 18 through a dedicated onboarding flow that requires a parent or legal guardian's information and consent before the account is activated. We collect only what is necessary to verify guardian consent and to apply age-appropriate protections, and we do not knowingly allow a minor to hold payout or payment credentials without guardian oversight. Parents or guardians may contact us at any time (see "Contact us" below) to review, restrict, or delete a minor's account.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:

• Service providers who process data on our behalf (cloud hosting, payment processing, analytics, customer support tooling), bound by confidentiality and data-processing agreements.
• Other users, limited to what your profile and public activity intentionally expose (e.g. your creator profile, public clips, community posts).
• Authorities, where required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Clippz, our users, or the public.
• A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice to you.

5. Data retention

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal and tax obligations (including Malaysian company and payment-recordkeeping requirements), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion at any time; some records may be retained where the law requires it.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and, for users in the EU/UK/California, the GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA where applicable, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, and request a copy of your data in a portable format. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls, and KYC checks where required for payouts. No system is completely secure, so we encourage strong, unique passwords and prompt reporting of any suspected account compromise.

8. International transfers

Clippz is operated from Malaysia. If you use the Service from outside Malaysia, your information may be transferred to and processed in Malaysia and other countries where our service providers operate, under appropriate safeguards.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email.
